Collagist Manifesto
My “collagist” landscapes are a reflection of the Body Politic. I often begin with a composition from a master work and “re-work” it, to reflect the nightmarish and obsessive dramas that dominate our political discourse, today. Inspirations: News/ Social Media, Hieronymus Bosch, Wally Berman, Jay DeFeo, Romare Bearden, Sue Coe.

A Facebook post once described a world filled with fear-huddled masses, bunkered down in their castle-homes, awaiting a tyrannical government to take away their firearms. The author’s name is hidden in the title: and dedicated to him.
